The
ladies of CMBC cook and serve a meal for the family
of a deceased Church member. After the service at the graveside,
the family gathers in the Fellowship Hall for food and fellowship.
This allows the family to spend time with their loved ones. This
also provides an opportunity for the Church to reach out to families
during their time of loss.
On
the day of the funeral, the Fellowship Hall is open from 7:00
AM to 7:00 PM for
food
drop-off and pick-up of serving dishes. The meat is provided by the
WMU and Brotherhood.
Members of CMBC are
encouraged to bring covered dishes.
Participation
in this ministry is a blessing not only to the family but to those
who contribute in any way. Anyone
interested in participating should contact one of the meal
coordinators.
